A new book.

ceci n’est pas un dildo
Gosh, another one. It’s pink, too.
maps
Entitled ‘maps’, this plastic-comb bound, 80 page book is the second of the two to be recently finished.
In An Emergency
I have been working on a couple of new books lately, and this one is now finished. Entitled ‘In An Emergency (July 2005)’, it is stitched, bound and boxed, and comes with a card which can be removed and placed in your purse or wallet in case of an emergency.
Same Tram
I have finished the first part of a new book entitled ‘Same Tram’.
It will be published in two formats; as a collection of cards, and as a boxed edition including a two track audio c.d.
An example of one of the cards.
ABC pt.2
Okay, I eventually had an idea for the project ABC, which I talked about at the end of last year, and I have now finished the book entitled ‘First Abc’.
Baby’s Book of Bulimia
I have finished a new book entitled ‘Baby’s Book of Bulimia’.
ABC
In response to a proposed exhibition entitled ABC, run by weloveyourbooks.com, i have struggled to come up with an idea for a book. I have however completed a piece of work for the side project that is being run in conjunction with ABC, and that is a box which represents a letter of the alphabet.
I chose the letter ‘g’.
More Came
As mentioned previously, I have been working on two books about Morecambe Bay. The second book, ‘More Came’, is now finished.
Welcome to Morecambe
I have been working on two books about the view across Morecambe Bay. The first one, ‘Welcome to Morecambe’, is now finished.
Bookmarks IV – Another Venue, Continued…
As posted below, the exhibition at Crockatt and Powell, which was organised by Jolanta Jagiello, is now running. Jolanta and staff at the bookshop chose the books to put each of the bookmarks into, and sent UWE some pics of them with the post-it notes on of which book each one was going into. The pictures are now up on the UWE Bookarts website for you to see which book each bookmark went into, so have a look at:

Pictures to follow; I’m awaiting the recharging of camera batteries.
PDFs to download
I have begun to create PDFs of each book which can be received by emailing me.
QSAND: InHouse
A few of my books are being exhibited at Mona House in Morecambe, the current home to the QSAND Artist’s Group.
Part of the Exhibition is a response to the building by artists currently working at Mona House.
My book, ‘Thie Vona’, is my submitted work.
Double Take
Two new books have been finished.
Double Take
and
Double Take 2
Both books document brief glimpses of life, viewed from the windows of public transport.
